Testimonial

"The CoopeTarrazu is divine. Big, rich, soft flavors,
very smooth acidity but
just enough to spark the
palate."

Costa Rican coffee is recognized worldwide for its high quality and for satisfying the most demanding tastes. This is a high quality, live Arabica coffee plant. A wonderful gift item!

Instructions for Transplanting:

  • Take the moss square (starter square) and put in in a cup of water for hydration. Squeeze out excess water and place moss in a flowerpot.
  • Open the vial, withdraw the plant and rinse the roots with water to eliminate the gel
  • Place in the moss and make sure it covers the roots. Do not use soil.
  • Keep the plant in conditions of low light and high humidity for at least the first month. To maintain a high humidity you can place the flowerpot inside a closed translucent container, regularly allowing the air circulation.
  • The moss must always be slightly damp.
  • After 2-3 months, the acclimatized plant may be placed in more intense light, not under direct sunlight. It is recommended to use a mild fertilizer every week or two.
  • As the plant grows it shall need a change of firmer substratum as support.

This plant can stay in the vial for an average period of 2-3 months without needing to be transplanted. The plants reproduced in vitro are exempt of the regulations of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES, Art. VII)
