Our Community

There are plenty of jobs in the mountains of Tarrazu during the picking season. We created CAFECOSA to try and create some jobs during the rest of the year. We pick, process, roast and pack the beans right in the community where they are grown to do our part to keep families at work and intact.

Beyond creating local jobs we make sure all our beans are certified Fair Trade and Shade Grown. Our social, economic and ecological commitments are the foundation of our business and we are happy to bring them to you and your patrons.
